John "Mickey" Fowler
CAI, AARE, CES
Founder, President/CEO
Mickey found his niche for the auction arena during the farmer’s depression in 1978. As a local farmer who realized farming wasn’t paying the bills, Mickey realized there was something more he could offer his fellow farmers. Mickey began the pursuit of a new life by attending auctioneer school. Since he had walked in the shoes of many northern Alabama and southern Tennessee farmers, Mickey acquired the trust and respect of many of his current patrons (still proud to hold their single and double digit red cards). As time evolved, real estate became a featured venue for Mickey and has proven to be very satisfying.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, his avid love for playing baseball is what brought Shane Odom to North Alabama. Shane played baseball at the University of North Alabama and graduated in 1996 with a BS Degree in Marketing Management. A 7-year tenure with Delphi, 2 years being in upper management, gives Shane experience in working with all types of people and a broad spectrum of financial planning, marketing, and human resources. His management background is very diverse has brought a new look to Fowler Auction. Another asset that Shane brings to the team of Fowler Auction is his background in real estate investment. He is married to Marla and they have one daughter, Maci and son, Ty. Shane enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
